Happy new year! Bring on the learning!

Last year saw (mostly) a return to in-person events — with many retaining a virtual component and some opting to remain online-only. The increased choice, variety and accessibility seem to be here to stay, and the virtual options are often more affordable too.

With that, here’s a preview of what to expect in conferences for 2023. Note that if this year is like the last, some dates and options can be expected to change. Watch this space for updates throughout the year!

February 5–7, 2023: Learning & Development Executive Summit 2023, Dallas, TX

February 12–15, 2023: ITC 2023 eLearning Conference, Las Vegas, NV
The Instructional Technology Council (ITC) invites you to collaborate with colleagues from across the country and around the world at one of the friendliest and most comprehensive annual conferences for elearning practitioners. Share the new and innovative educational strategies and technologies you have implemented, and the tried-and-true techniques you or your staff use to teach at a distance. Have you experienced strategies that did not work out as well as you had hoped? Share the lessons you learned, too!

February 13–15, 2023: Digital Learning Annual Conference, Austin, TX and online
Digital tools and resources aren't silver bullets that magically transform education, but online learning, blended learning, and the use of technology can increase student opportunities and improve student outcomes, when developed by thoughtful school leaders and implemented by effective teachers. DLAC celebrates K–12 digital learning practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. Join in to learn from each other, and share best (and worst!) practices. February 16, 2023: The Learning Ideas Conference: Creativity in Learning Design, online
This one-day, online event, hosted by online learning expert Dr. David Guralnick, will explore the concept of creativity and ways to design new approaches to learning. The event will feature experts from various fields relating to creativity, learning, and technology. Recordings of all sessions will be made available to registered participants after the event.

February 28, 2023: World of Learning Summit, London, UK

March 20–23, 2023 / April 4–5, 2023: 2023 TxDLA Conference: Story: True Tales of Bringing Digital Learning to Life, Galveston, TX / online
The story of technology use in education and professional development is one that needs to be told. This conference will explore the many stories of digital learning in education and training.
